These terms govern your use of the Second Chance To Life LLC platform and participation in our housing program. Please read carefully before applying or using any of our services.
Second Chance To Life LLC provides transitional and supportive housing services for individuals who have faced significant barriers to stable housing, including those with prior incarceration, evictions, or housing instability. Our program is designed to provide not just a place to live, but a pathway to long-term stability.
Participation in our housing program requires adherence to all program rules, payment of applicable fees and rent, and active engagement with your housing plan.

We provide affordable housing. You will be informed of your specific rent amount upon approval. All residents are responsible for:
Rent amounts are set at the time of your approval and will not increase during your initial lease term without 30 days written notice.
If your rent is not received by the due date:
All residents must comply with the house rules for their specific property. General program rules include:
Violation of program rules may result in formal warnings, program holds, or removal from the program, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
Upon approval and move-in, residents will receive a formal lease agreement to review and sign digitally through the resident portal. The lease agreement governs the specific terms of your housing arrangement, including the unit address, move-in date, rent amount, lease term, and applicable rules.

Residents are encouraged to authorize autopay for their monthly rent through the resident portal. By authorizing autopay, you consent to automatic monthly debits from your designated payment method. You may cancel autopay authorization with 30 days written notice, subject to your continued rent obligation.
For SSI and Social Security recipients, payment may be coordinated through an authorized representative payee arrangement where applicable.
Your security deposit is refundable at the end of your tenancy, subject to deductions for:

Residents may be removed from the program for:
Program removal proceedings will be conducted in accordance with applicable state and local law. Residents will receive notice of any proceedings and the opportunity to respond.
Second Chance To Life LLC is not liable for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged on program premises unless caused by our gross negligence. Residents are encouraged to maintain renter's insurance where possible.
We may update these Terms of Service with reasonable notice. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
